Aarbakke + Ignos + Aarbakke Innovation - 23 March

ABOUT:  

Welcome to Aarbakke, recipient of the award for Norway’s Smartest Industrial Company.

Ignos is a Smart Factory platform that makes production data directly usable for optimisation, automation and AI in industrial environments.

Aarbakke Innovation  is an engineering and technology company specialising in scaling, industrialisation and robot development.

Together, the sister companies deliver integrated solutions combining engineering, digital production control and large scale manufacturing for complex industrial systems.

DESCRIPTION OF THE TOUR: 

During the visit, participants will see how automated systems and robots are developed, and how large scale industrial production is managed in practice. The tour includes live production at Aarbakke, where more than 50 CNC machines, machining, welding, assembly and testing operations are monitored and managed in real time using the Ignos Smart Factory platform. Participants will also see development and testing of automated systems and robots at Aarbakke Innovation, ranging from compact tools such as Axter to large autonomous machines, including the SHIFTR battery swap system handling 8 tonne battery modules.

ABOUT: Welcome to Norway’s testbed for innovative airport management solutions! Avinor is the Norwegian state owned company operating airports in Norway. At Avinor’s Sola Airport (SVG) is where Avinor’s innovation lab is located

DESCRIPTION OF THE TOUR: 

During the visit you will be transported around in bus to see leading robotics solutions, from lawn movers to a deep dive on inspection robotics, where Roboxi is a leading in revolutionizing airside operations by deploying AI-powered, remotely controlled rovers to automate runway safety and maintenance tasks like Foreign Object Debris detection and surface monotoring – which boosts efficiency, reduces manual labor, and ensures safer, more data-driven airport management.

ABOUT: Laerdal Medical which is among of Stavanger’s leading companies, and a global leader in healthcare education, medical simulation, resuscitation and medical devices. Laerdal was founded in 1940 and sells today thousands of different goods. Laerdal has a new factory, in Forus (close to the exhibition hall) where we can see applied usage of robotics and AI. Laerdal makes advanced manikins – which is inhenrently humanoids – used for complicated surgery practise.

DESCRIPTION OF THE TOUR: 

Laerdal invites you to their brand-new factory that produces complex, high value medical devices. While the process is highly manual, there are usage of robotics and AI to streamline the process, and Laerdal also tests and develops complicated humanoids.

ABOUT: Oceaneering is a global leader in providing services and products to the offshore energy industry, and their offices in Stavanger are leading in deploying remotely operated vehicles (ROVs).

DESCRIPTION OF THE TOUR: 

Oceaneering invites participants to their remote ROV Operations center and workshop in Forus, where participants will be able to see leading robotics solutions in the subsea segment and how Oceaneering utilizes ROVs in service of their customers.

REMOTION - 23 March

ABOUT: Remotion is a unique Robotics technology and solutions provider, with in-house designed robots for inspections, maintenance and repair. We are providing rental and service solutions globally directly or together with our partners or within the group of Altrad, Beerenberg & Linjebygg, both onshore and onshore. We focus on Splash zones, Ship Hull, confined space and other relevant industry segments benefitting from reducing personnel from hazardious exposure by doing dirty, dull and dangerous work more efficiently with robotics.

DESCRIPTION OF THE TOUR: 

At the Site Visit you will see live demonstrations of our magnetic crawler robots showcasing examples of grit plasting, inspection, protective wrapping as well as painting. Depending on what robotic systems that are actually available at specific time, we will also display various tools and solutions.

Tours are dedicated to participants regularly registered to ERF 2026.

Each facility must be reached autonomously; no transfers have been organised by ERF 2026.

During the booking a flat fee of € 25,00 (VAT included) is due, accepted payment by credit card only.

If you are a sponsor/exhibitor: select your preferred tour and purchase the ticket through the sponsors’ platform. Please contact erf2026.sponsor@aimgroup.eu for any information related to the sponsors’ platform.

Confirmation will be sent by email from the Organising Secretariat.

A minimum of participants is required; if the minimum is not reached by 2 March 2026, the tour could be cancelled for lack of participation, and you will be informed by the Organising Secretariat.
